Give the gift of Lounging with a Lounge Gift Voucher. A Lounge Gift Voucher is ideal for birthdays, congratulations, thank yous and more. Our gift vouchers can be used at any Lounge and don’t have to be redeemed at once.
If you’ve received a gift card, we recommend you register it to allow you to receive notifications of remaining balances and expiry dates. Our purchased gift cards expire 12 months after the date of purchase.

We work tirelessly to cater for any allergens in our Lounges. Your safety is our greatest concern, and because allergies can be life-threatening, we would ask you to think carefully about the risks before you order.
We are proud of the service we provide to people with allergies and intolerances, and we work very hard with our suppliers and our teams on processes and checks around allergens. However, you should be aware that we have hundreds of ingredients in our Lounge, and it is always possible that a mistake could be made in taking or preparing your order.
For this reason, we cannot 100% guarantee that any dish is allergen-free.
When ordering, you will always be asked about any allergies, and if so, a senior member of staff will deal with your order. This includes preparing food in a separate area to avoid cross-contamination, and your food being delivered by a senior member of the front-of-house team.
We recommend that you check the Allergen Guide yourself every time you order, as our recipes sometimes change.
We have a dedicated Look and Feel team, who work tirelessly to bring out the soul of every site, celebrating the history and spirit of each local community, while keeping the same classic Lounge vibe. Paintings are sourced from auctions, car boots and some are even hand-painted for us, while our iconic lampshades are custom-made for each venue’s style.
Lounges was founded in 2002 by a trio of longstanding friends, Dave Reid, Alex Reilley and Jake Bishop. Having spent years in the restaurant and bar trade – not to mention just as many propping up the bars in Bristol (all of course in the name of research) – they decided it was time they did their own thing.
An empty optician’s on North Street, Bristol, seemed to fit the bill. It had the necessary planning permission, was just about big enough and in reasonable condition. They liked it a lot, and so, it seemed, did a lot of other people. They pondered whether they should open another one, maybe on Gloucester Road, and in what was an absurdly short space of time, they did, and Loungers was born. The rest, as they say, is history…
You can find a great deal every single day at Lounge. For those workers needing a pick-me-up, our Lunchtime Deal lets you grab a mug of soup and half a Tuna Melt or Tomato & Mozzarella Panini between 12-5pm Monday-Friday. Cheeky Mondays is designed to beat those Monday blues with a free glass of wine or pudding with the order of any burger, main or salad.
Tapas Tuesday lets you enjoy a glass of wine and three tapas dishes for a great price on a Tuesday, and with Lounge Cocktail Club, you can get two of the same cocktail for a sweet deal any day of the week! These three deals are all available after 5pm.
We like to keep things fresh here at Lounge, so you can expect two new menus each year, one for the spring/summer and one for the autumn/winter. Don’t worry! All your old favourites will still be there, with just a few changes made each time to fit the season and include new dishes we think our customers will love.
Short answer, yes! Event planning is often left up to each individual Lounge, but some examples of common events include quiz nights, bake sales, bingo, paint and sip, live music and whatever bright ideas they can think up. It’s only the biggest bash in hospitality! For one day each year, we close every single Lounge, as well as our sister and brother sites, Cosy Club and Brightside Roadside Dining, to throw a festival for all of our staff. Fairground rides, music acts, food, drink and much more, all centred around a theme.
LoungeAid is our biggest fundraising event of the year! Each June, every single Lounge around the country picks a chosen charity, one that means a lot to the local community. Our teams do all sorts during June to raise money for a great cause, with everything from bake sales and drag queen bingo to skydives and cycling from the most Northern to the most Southern Lounge!
We’re always looking to expand, sometimes planning months and years in advance, so your local area might already be on our radar! If you do see a dream location for a Lounge, such as a property for sale or a new development occurring, feel free to get in touch, and we can look into it.
With over 250 sites, we have a lot of fun coming up with names. They are normally linked to the local area in some way, and translated into another language to spice them up a bit, and of course, they have to end in an o!
For example, Tremolo Lounge in Gosforth. Tremolo is named after a musical effect of the same name and is a nod to the fact that Dire Straits band members Mark and David Knopfler went to Gosforth Grammar School as children!
Some are a bit simpler, such as Alto Lounge, which was named after the car in front of us in a traffic jam when we happened to be talking about names…

Definitely. We’re family friendly with little menus for Little Loungers, high chairs, space for buggies and colouring pencils too.
We aim to be as accessible as possible, but some of our older buildings have quirks. Drop us a line and we’ll give you the lowdown on your local Lounge.
Yes, you can! Some of our spaces are perfect for birthdays, book clubs, work things, or any excuse to gather. We offer various options, with some Lounges having quiet corners we can put a few tables together, or some have dedicated rooms. Get in touch and we’ll help plan it.
We mostly operate on walk-ins (we’re just casual like that), but if you want to play it safe, or you’re rolling in with a crowd, booking’s a smart move. Get in touch with your local Lounge to make a booking enquiry.
Very! Bring your four-legged pals, we’ve got water bowls, treats, and plenty of fuss to go around. HOWEVER!…if you’re heading to a Lounge within a shopping centre, we might have to break form as dogs are not always allowed. Please call ahead to double-check. Please make sure you keep paws on the ground and you are considerate of other Loungers
Absolutely. We’ve got plug sockets, decent coffee, and a bit of background buzz to make emails feel slightly more fun.
We do indeed – with plenty of flavour. We pride ourselves on being a business that offers dedicated menus for gluten-free and vegan guests, with lots of options (not just one or two salads like some places!). Just let us know your preferences, and we’ll take care of you.
It sure is. Whether you fancy brunch at 4pm or a burger at 10am, we’re not here to judge. Last orders are around an hour before closing, so if you want a full English late at night, make sure you get there in time!
