How Lounge Gives Back

Working with the community

We love how every Lounge becomes part of its local patch.

Our teams are encouraged to get stuck in with the community – whether that’s teaming up with local groups, supporting charities, or working with nearby businesses doing brilliant things.

We want to get to know our neighbours, lend a hand where we can, and help spread a little good by backing the people and causes that make our communities tick.

LoungeFest

LoungeFest is our annual staff party. For one day every year, we close all of our Lounges and throw a festival to celebrate our teams. Think fairground rides, DJs, face painting, dance classes, free food and drinks all day

Community focused hiring

Employing locally

We’re proud to employ local residents who genuinely care about the community, and our aim is that every guest leaves feeling happy, is made to feel important, and genuinely feels part of something special.

If that sounds like something you’d like to be a part of, check out our vacancies to find a role that suits you.

We're dedicated to community

Our Charities

Charity fundraisers range from Giving Trees at Christmas to bake sales, personal challenges and charity quizzes – our teams get stuck in.  This financial year, we raised over £390k across all our sites thanks to their dedication and community spirit – and gifted £700k-worth of food and drink to our customers in random acts of kindness.

This means that, collectively, our community engagement efforts have contributed well over £1m to local people and good causes. Now that’s a stat we’re chuffed with!

Burgers & coffee that go a long way

Every time we open a new Lounge, we like to give a little something back.
In our first month, we donate 50p from every burger and 20p from every coffee to a local charity – it usually adds up to around £1,000 going straight to a good cause right on the doorstep.

Five smiling people pose indoors, holding Air Ambulance-themed signs and a blue banner. One person wears a rainbow shirt and hat. The background features framed pictures on the wall.

LoungeAid

LoungeAid is our big annual fundraiser, and we like to go all out.

Every June, our teams across the country dream up weird and wonderful ways to raise money for good causes – from skydives and cycling marathons to open mic nights and the occasional leg wax (ouch).

In 2025, we raised an incredible £217,200 and overall have raised over £650,000 for local causes. And with more Lounges popping up each year, we’re hoping to smash that total again and again.

How can we get involved?
