Smart Gallico Lounge sits on bustling Market Street just off Horseshoe Corner in the heart of Lancaster. You can watch the world go by on our outdoor terrace or from our big floor to ceiling windows running across the front. Inside, we’ve a welcoming space of two halves: a big airy exposed brick space leading through our pink archway to a cosier floral pink snug at the back. Choose your mood! We’re called Gallico after the Rosa gallica, the inspiration for the Red Rose of Lancaster.

Interesting fact:  There’s a horseshoe in the pavement at Horseshoe Corner, said to be from John of Gaunt’s horse when he left Lancaster Castle for the last time.
