Our Lounge

Bruto Lounge in Totnes is proud to be your home-from-home, open all day to provide you with the perfect venue for coffee, brunch, cocktails and a whole lot more. We serve a great selection of delicious food and drink, including dedicated menus for our gluten-free and vegan guests.

We also cater to Little Loungers, with their own menu, activities and toys for them to enjoy. For our more grown up guests, you can enjoy a wide range of events such as quizzes and evening entertainment, daily deals and even refreshments for our canine guests. Bruto Lounge is a relaxed, neighbourhood café bar in Totnes, serving great food all day, every day. Come on in to enjoy your home-from-home. Bruto is Italian for Brutus. The Brutus Stone features in legend as the place where Brutus the Trojan, founder of the British people, first stepped ashore. Brutus is said to have declared, “Here I stand and here I rest, and this good town shall be called Totnes” (although there is no proof this ever happened).
