Our Story

Lounge started with a simple idea – to create a space where everyone feels at home. From our first location in Bristol to the growing community today, our mission remains the same: friendly service, quality ingredients, and a welcoming atmosphere.

We began in 2002, with a trio of longstanding friends, Dave Reid, Alex Reilley and Jake Bishop, wanting to do their own thing after years in the restaurant and bar trade. They started with an empty optician’s in Bedminster, and now have a legacy of over 250 Lounges nationwide.
