Home From Home

Ovino Lounge is an informal, neighbourhood food-led café bar. We’re all about Community, and everyone’s welcome! Even your four-legged friends. Pop in and say hi!

Ovino means sheep. Skipton is etymologically derived from the name ‘Sheep Town’ in Anglo-Saxon, with plenty of connections in the town – it hosts the annual ‘Skipton Sheep Day’ on the first Sunday of July every year. Sheep fleeces also feature on the town’s Coat of Arms, and there was a local legend that they were hung over the walls of the Castle during the civil war to deaden the impact of cannon balls

Opening Times
