Our Lounge

Pato Lounge is right in the heart of Orpington, in the middle of the High Street, close to the Walnuts Shopping Centre. We’ve lovely big windows that open right up and a lovely little terrace running along the front, so we’re just perfect for watching the world go by.

We serve a really wide range of food and drinks (including full kids, gluten-free and vegan menus) served in a warm, relaxed environment that welcomes everyone, like the rather lovely Orpington Friendlies. Our mural by the bar celebrates a rather famous one-time nearby Orpington beardy resident, which is apt, as we’ve evolved into a rather nice place. Ho ho.

Pato is Spanish for duck – Charles Darwin was born in Orpington. The Orpington or Buff Orpington Duck is a breed of domestic duck.
