Beautiful Ludo Lounge is in a great spot on Southbourne Grove not too far from the beach, in the heart of Southbourne. There’s a pretty terrace and lovely full-width windows that open right up at the front which are perfect for people watching, but head further inside and you may be distracted by the light and airy double-height interior, leading on through to a huge roof terrace at the back.
We serve a great range of food and drinks (including full kids’, gluten-free and vegan menus) throughout these warm, welcoming spaces. You may guess (from the sign on the terrace) that the site used to be a Woolworths store, which may go a little way to explaining our rather Pick n Mix approach to decor! One for the oldies, there.
We take group bookings for six or more people. Simply complete the below form to make a request with our team.

We named Ludo Lounge after the classic game of the same name. Ludo is built in a former Woolworth’s and the back-bar counter is constructed out of the original hardwood Woolworth’s sign. We also have Woolworth’s light box sign on Ludo’s terrace as a homage to the building’s past.
