About Cultivo Lounge

Cultivo Lounge opened its doors in the centre of Letchworth Garden City (the world’s first Garden City!) on 22^nd October 2014.  The building has undergone a fantastic transformation from its previous lives as a Woolworths and most recently an Argos.

Originally, despite an open and spacious feel within, the only source of natural light was the shop front. We added two long sliding bi-fold windows running the full length of the building, which really opened up the space, and gives a wonderful view of Letchworth’s community garden, where Cultivo grow their very own herbs!

There is also a beautiful covered terrace at the front of the building, affording a great view of Leys Avenue fountains – a perfect spot to watch the hustle and bustle as Letchworth passes you by,  maybe with a cool Mojito, made with fresh Letchworth mint!

Interesting fact: 

Of the many lights on display at Cultivo the best ones are the lights above the bar, which in a former life were Parisian street lamps.
